National myPHN Conference
Early in July, four Bond delegates set off for Cairns for the 2nd Annual National myPHN Conference. It was a jam-packed weekend and featured talks from eminent speakers, workshops with experts and networking with many health professionals from across the country. A variety of sessions covered topics from digital data innovation, medicinal cannabis, to privacy and security. One of the most interesting sessions, entitled ‘Dying in the 21st Century—planning for a finite life’ discussed current approaches to end of life care as well as how this will change as we integrate more technology with healthcare. However, the highlight of the conference was the memorable performance by Christine Anu. We enjoyed the experience and opportunity to connect with many different health professionals. The conference provided a glimpse at what our careers might look like in the future – we strongly encourage anyone who is interested to attend such events
